The Gem of the Helderberg

Out of so many good things, just what is it that is most precious in our fantastic Helderberg basin?

Even to the unartistic, the place inspires creativity. Just looking at rolling mountains of the Hottentots holland range, makes one curious about how hard it would be to paint and if soft brushstrokes would do it any justice. The food and wine can turn anyone into a delightful food snob for a day, and the sparkling colours of the harbour can evoke any old Joe to grab a camera and feel like a professional photographer.

Somerset Mall’s hip and happening shopping and entertainment vibe crashes effortlessly onto the sleepy seaside village of Gordons Bay like a rolling, foamy, white wave.  The contrast of sipping world class wine at one of over 20 wine estates after hiking in the nature reserve, feeds body and mind with healthy doses of nature and luxury. Lets face it! We are spoiled with choice and the very best of it!

With Helderberg Health Network, I hope to build a community that can share experiences, reviews and knowledge. I hope to bring customers closer to local suppliers with the best of everything the great Helderberg has to offer. But most of all, having met the most amazing people here in the last few weeks and months, I hope to foster lasting relationships with and among people who are looking for healthy, holistic and local products and services.

Because the gem of the Helderberg, is definitely her people.

Im passionate about my family, friends, life, love and health. I love living on a smallholding in my dream farmhouse with my family and all my animals. My ideal moment in time would be when a storm is rolling in over False Bay and can be watched from the patio, sipping red wine, some music in the background and a casserole bubbling gently away in the old wood burning oven.
